Articulation Agreement ENMU-Ruidoso with Northern New Mexico College - November 17, 2014
The Department of Engineering at Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) and the Information System Department (ISD) at Eastern New Mexico University Ruidoso (ENMU-Ruidoso) have many areas of common interest in Information Engineering Technology, including Computer Networks, Databases, Computer Programming, Web Systems, and Cybersecurity. Hence collaboration will be established within the principles set out in the following sections.
The agreement defines a structure through which articulation on all levels will be supported. This agreement is designed to provide a pathway for the graduates of the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) at ENMU-Ruidoso, to transfer to the Bachelor in Information Engineering Technology (IET) at NNMC.
New Mexico’s Skill Up Network (SUN) is funded by the Department of Labor’s Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program and Santa Fe Community College serves as the lead institution for a consortium of New Mexico colleges, including ENMU-Ruidoso. TAACCCT grants fund innovative projects among community colleges, employers and workforce agencies that create pathways to high-skill, high-wage jobs, and have a lasting impact on workforce education.

Coordinator: coordinate and support regional and national cybersecurity education programs

CyberWatch West is focused on building a comprehensive network of higher education institutions, businesses, and government agencies dedicated to developing and maintaining a robust cybersecurity workforce. CyberWatch West is committed to providing a forum for improving the quality and increasing awareness of cybersecurity issues in educational and industrial communities throughout its region. ENMU-Ruidoso is a member of this organization.
