International Students

If you live outside the U.S., or are not a U.S. citizen, you may be an international student. For admissions purposes, anyone who has completed their most recent degree or credential at an institution outside the U.S. is considered to be an international student.

Student Visas

ENMU-Ruidoso does not issue I-20 Forms (US Department of Homeland Security Certificates of Eligibility for student visas), and therefore cannot fulfill requests for student visas. Enrollment in an online ENMU-Ruidoso program does not allow a student to be eligible for a student visa.

Admission

Application for Admissions — submitted via the online Admissions Application.

Also:

• A post-secondary transcript states that your language of instruction was English.
• A post-secondary transcript that indicates completion of college level English or Math.

Types of Academic Records

Transcripts, certificates, diplomas, mark sheets, and test scores must be sent directly from the issuing institution to the Institutional Effectiveness and Student Records Office to be considered official. ENMU-Ruidoso reserves the right to determine what constitutes an official document. Certified English translations must accompany all non-English original documents.

Tuition and Financial Aid Options

ENMU-Ruidoso participates in the Title IV (federal student aid) program. To be eligible for Title IV aid, you must be a United States Citizen or eligible non-citizen.

Licensure

Licensure requirements vary from place to place. It is each student’s responsibility to understand the requirements pertaining to their country, state or region to ensure that their selected program meets those requirements.
