The CDC Bootcamp is a rigorous, fast-paced program designed to help students earn their certificate in 9 weeks. Students are required to complete five courses. The FYEX course serves as an instructional support model to promote student success throughout the program.
The four core courses include:
- ECED 1110: Guiding Young Children
- ECED 1120: Child Growth and Development
- ECED 1125: Assessment of Children and Evaluation of Programs
- ECED 1130: Family and Community Collaboration
All courses are delivered online. Students are required to attend mandatory live sessions on:
- Tuesdays from 5 – 7 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 6 – 8 p.m.
Students inquiring about the ECED scholarship will need to use the link below. Once they are accepted into ENMU-Ruidoso and if they anticipate paying for the Bootcamp with the scholarship, the advisors will send out the required documents to ensure the student shares them with the scholarship department. We do not directly correspond with the scholarship department – students are responsible for that.
