ENMU-Ruidoso and social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19

Dear Students,

We are following Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s recommendation to reduce the spread of Coronavirus-19. Therefore, beginning March 23 all classes will be offered in an online or hybrid format.

I encourage everyone to continue to follow the New Mexico Department of Health Coronavirus 19 Recommendations.

Students: We are here to serve you!

Campus resources will be available Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. for registered students. Additionally, there will be online and remote options to receive assistance from Success Emporium staff and faculty. If you have questions, please call us at 575-315-1120. All courses will continue starting March 23. Please check your student email regularly for updates.

By Friday (March 20) you should hear from a college staff member explaining what to expect when classes resume on Monday. If you do not hear from us please call at 575-315-1120.

How do I access online courses?

Access to Canvas (where your online courses live) is done through the ENMU-Ruidoso Portal (see directions below). First, navigate to ruidoso.enmu.edu. Click on Quick Links in the upper right corner and select MyENMU-Ruidoso. Under QuickLaunch>Launchpad, click Canvas.

Who do I contact if I am having difficulties accessing courses?

Please call 575-315-1120 for assistance.

How do I receive tutoring/ other assistance if I am unable to come to campus?

On-campus and live tutoring sessions offered through Microsoft Teams will be available Monday 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m.-12 p.m. For one-on-one availability please call 575-315-1120.

Can I come to campus?

Only come to campus if you feel safe and are healthy. On campus assistance will be available Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

What do I do if I cannot access technology from home?

You are welcome to come to campus, or due to Coronavirus-19, internet service providers are allowing free services. Please contact local service providers for details.

How do I access library resources?
