Bookstore – Inclusive Access

Inclusive Access

The Inclusive Access Program is a new textbook model in collaboration with Texas Book Company that provides content for your courses. The cost of the textbook/digital content is included in tuition and fees. Inclusive access course materials may include, but are not limited to, e-textbooks which are digital versions of the physical book, and digital content that has supplemental material over the physical textbook (such as videos, simulations, and interactive software).

FAQ

How does it work?
The Inclusive Access Program takes the hassle out of course material buying because course material costs are covered through a flat course fee per credit hour. This allows every enrolled student access to all required materials on day one. Once you have selected your courses, materials will be available through your Canvas portal.

Do I need an access code?
Inclusive Access course materials are different from class to class. Content will automatically be placed on the course in Canvas and will be accessible when you sign into your course.

How much does Inclusive Access cost?
$27 per credit hour. Savings of 30-35%.

How do I pay for my access?
A course materials charge will be assessed when you register for the course in Student Account.

I do not have all the money to pay for the course charge at the time my tuition is due. Can I make payments on the additional charge?
Yes. Since the additional charge is on your student account, the charge will be included as part of your tuition payment plan.

Will financial aid funds pay for my digital course materials?
Yes.

Will my scholarship(s) pay for course content fees?
It depends on each scholarship. If your scholarship is allowed to pay for books, then it will cover this cost. If you have any questions on what your scholarship pays, please contact the ENMU-Ruidoso Foundation.

How do I “opt-out” of the course charge and what does that mean?
Arrange an appointment with Hank Hargis, Coordinator of Student Services before add/drop deadline. You will still be responsible for obtaining your course materials and to complete course assignments.

Can I purchase a paperback version of the digital text?
In many cases, they will be available for purchase online from the bookstore.

I dropped the course. Do I still need to opt-out?
No, you will automatically be removed from the course and access to the materials. Refunds will not be issued for access fee after add/drop.
