HEAD COACH

Chelsea DeMott of Alto received her bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Marketing from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. She was a member of the rodeo team and competed in team roping, breakaway roping and goat tying. Chelsea was the NIRA Grand Canyon Regional Student Director and qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in 2014 and 2015. Chelsea is a sales representative for Wrangler Jeans covering New Mexico and northwest Texas and has been managing the territory for the past 10 years. chelsea.demott@enmu.edu

ASSISTANT COACH

Mike DeMott of Alto retired from farming and from driving a semi-truck in Illinois and Texas before moving to New Mexico. He graduated from Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) in Kansas with an Associate degree and competed for the FSCC rodeo team in bull riding and bareback riding, and served as the Assistant Rodeo Coach for one year. After retiring from bull riding, he competed in PRCA and IPRA rodeos in steer wrestling and is currently a #4 heeler in team roping.
