Educators Rising cultivates highly skilled educators by guiding young people from high school through college and into their teaching careers. Guest speakers will share insights on classroom management, identifying students with special needs, Phonics, and other hot topics in education. Members will hold fundraisers to support local educators and Educators Rising NM at the state level. Membership will prepare you for all things teaching!

Do you have a 3.5 (or higher) GPA and have completed 12 credits? Do you want to be part of a group of highly recognized  individuals in the Community College National Honor Society? Membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society includes leadership opportunities; scholarships; assistance with transferring to continue your education; monthly meetings and much more!

Presidents Ambassador club logo

The President’s Ambassador Club is a select group of students whose mission is to project a favorable image of ENMU-Ruidoso to the community, prospective students, parents, high school personnel, alumni, college boards and the Foundation. Ambassadors provide campus tours for prospective students and visitors, and serve at many college functions and recruiting events. Ambassadors develop real-life skills which will help them with their resumes, job applications, and prepare them for future careers. Students will receive a stipend once they have been selected for the President’s Ambassador Club, along with an Ambassador shirt and name tag. Upon completion of the Ambassador Program, students will be given a letter of recommendation from the ENMU-Ruidoso President.

Ridgeline Review Literary Magazine logo

Ridgeline Review is a Literary & Fine Arts Magazine from ENMU-Ruidoso that is published in the spring. The magazine features submissions from students, faculty, staff, and community members, including poetry, short stories, photographs, artwork… and anything in between. Student editors are needed to assist in choosing works for publication, corresponding with artists, laying out the magazine, and editing photographs/artwork. Learn the basics of InDesign and Photoshop, as well as gain real-world experience in publication printing, marketing, and social media.

Ruidoso Hispanic Student Association (RHSA) is a student organization whose mission is to promote teamwork, leadership, opportunities and culture identities. The mission of SkillsUSA is to empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members. Students must be enrolled as Dual Credit in career- training courses (in one of the competition-related trades) with ENMU-Ruidoso. Contest areas include: Culinary Arts; Cyber/Computers; Construction – Wiring, HVAC; Welding; Healthcare and more.
