ENMU-Ruidoso Head Rodeo Coach Chelsea DeMott Adds One More to Her Team

NIRA logoDakota Heitz of Tularosa signed the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Letter of Intent Friday, May 23 at ENMU-Ruidoso. She is the daughter of Dinita Heitz and Lance Heitz. She recently graduated from Tularosa High School and is enrolled full-time in the fall semester at ENMU-Ruidoso with plans to pursue an Associate of Arts degree in general studies.

In 2024 Dakota won a saddle with the Las Cruces Horseman’s Association. She will be competing in goat tying and barrel racing on the ENMU-Ruidoso Women’s College Rodeo Team.
