Educators Rising is a student organization for high school and college students who are pursuing early childhood or teacher education. Educators Rising shares the same vision and mission with the Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) International which is a non-profit teacher’s organization that was established in 1906 that supports teachers and school leaders by strengthening their interest in the profession through the entire arc of their career. The shared vision and mission of the two organizations is to eliminate the teacher shortage by reimagining educator pathways, and to inspire and grow current and rising educators to become community leaders and advocates for high quality education. PDK International incorporates the following five core vales into its work: community, leadership, service, optimism and excellence.
