The Popular AIM HIGH Clay Shooting Fundraiser Event will be held June 14-15 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, 287 Carrizo Canyon Road in Mescalero with additional events at the ENMU-Ruidoso, 709 Mechem Drive.
The main event, a 100-target sporting clay course takes place on both Friday and Saturday. The entry fee ($250 per person and $200 per person for ages 17 and under) includes the main course, course meals, shooting exhibition and branded shirt. Register online at scorechaser.com or call 575-315-1216. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams, top lady shooter, top youth shooter and overall high shooter. The Aim High sporting clay shoot began in 2016 and has raised over $300,000 to benefit ENMU-Ruidoso student scholarships, campus programs and student engagement activities.
New this year, at no cost for shooters’ families and for members of the community, is a ladies luncheon and fashion show featuring the Mescalero Apache Princesses on Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the College. At the same time, activities are planned for youth at the campus including disc golf, Apache crafts, cornhole toss and lunch.
