Dear ENMU-Ruidoso Students:
What an amazing group of students you are! We are so impressed with your incredible response to our new reality that has been created by the coronavirus. The great majority of students are continuing with their studies and seem to be thriving as best they can. Thank you very much for all that you are doing to adapt to our technology-assisted online courses and services.
As you know, ENMU-Ruidoso is responding to instructions from the New Mexico Governor’s Office to close school and college buildings in an effort to diminish the spread of the Coronavirus and keep New Mexicans safe.
In place of many on-campus classes, we have moved instruction student support online through Canvas. We have added a “live chat” feature to the front page of the college website which enables you to ask questions and receive answers in real time throughout the day. And, we have been following up with you by phone.
If you need help with the technology, or need advising or tutorial help, please do not hesitate to connect with us through Canvas, or the “live chat” feature, or by telephone.
We apologize for any difficulty and inconvenience this sudden transition to online instruction has caused you. We are evaluating our efforts daily and working to make improvements. I appreciate hearing from you with your concerns and recommendations.
The ENMU-Ruidoso College Board, administration and employees appreciate your understanding during this most unusual and unprecedented time. As always, the well-being and success of our students is our top priority.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ryan Carstens
President
