Juan Gonzalez I have been living in El Paso since June 2000, though I am originally from Southern California. Most people know El Paso for its close relationship with Fort Bliss Army Base. It was a career move that originally brought me to El Paso, and I have been here ever since. My passion for Computer Science spans a couple of decades of work in the IT field, but I officially got my start in 1999 through a software company. Since then, I have been fortunate to work for the DoD, Homeland Security, the City of El Paso, and even NASA. Today, I am a Cybersecurity Engineer for a Government contracting company, and teach online cybersecurity courses for ENMU-Ruidoso. As my career in IT developed, so did my formal education and certifications. Beginning with an A+ certification, then progressing all the way through a Masters in Digital Forensics, my love for computers continues to grow. I can’t emphasize enough how important a formal Computer Science education has been in developing my computer knowledge. Knowing how to do something is as important as knowing why it’s done that way. When work and school is not on the menu, I love spending time with my family. I have two promising young boys and a very wonderful and supportive wife. They are my pride and joy. I love taking them on trips to California and almost have them convinced that we should move out there. Ha! Wishful thinking on my part; they are 100-percent family grounded in Texas! Brandi Wright Brandi began at ENMU-Ruidoso as Project Manager for the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Peer Review Program. Wright states, “I decided to work at ENMU-Ruidoso because of the opportunity to work with Stephen Miller, the director of the CAE Cybersecurity Center and to be a part of this Cybersecurity program was an opportunity I did not want to pass up.” Jesse Davis Jesse received an Associate of Science in Information Systems Cyber Security from ENMU-Ruidoso in 2020 and more recently, a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in Information Systems from ENMU Portales and a Masters of Science in Cyber Security from Excelsior College, NY.
